Senior Portraits: Daylee

Hello All!

2020 and 2021 have been rough for the graduating seniors. We are glad to still have been able to work with many of them as the state slowly opened up again. Daylee was one of them. A few years back (literally a few years back), we had the pleasure of working with Daylee’s older brother Drayden for his senior portrait, and now it’s Daylee’s turn. Amazes me to see how quickly time flies! Like Drayden, I remember Daylee when he was just a small boy (their mom and I were college classmates) haha. Well, he has grown into a fine young man! Congratulations Daylee! Have a small look at our session :)

Road To WAKO 2021: HiBred House

Hey All!

Most recently, we got wind of our friends from HiBred House would also be taking part in the WAKO tournament coming up this month. So off to the Eastside we went! We ended up doing some portraits of them as they prepped for their upcoming competition. The fighters competing consist of Alfonzo Martinez, Tristan Futa, Scott Higashi, Webster Aluli, Nakoa Fujimura, Nate Yoshimura, and Ikaika Barboza. We even had Canaan Kawaihae appear for a cameo! Hibred House will be going up with Westside Striking to compete and hopefully put Hawaii on the map once again for combat sports. Have a look at our session and enjoy!

Road To WAKO 2021: Westside Striking

What’s up all!

We recently had a chance to work with our friends at Westside Striking again. This month they are taking a team of hopefuls to the WAKO Team USA Kickboxing National Championships in Nashville, Tennessee. Representing Westside Striking: Taz Kaleiopu, Joven Lopez, JJ Morales, Sefo Manuel, Quincy Manuel, Isaac Martinez, Christian Tajiri, and Brandon Abiva. We got to take get some portrait work in with them, with a little action on the side. We were unable to photograph Christian Tajiri and Brandon Abiva this time around, but hopefully next time around we will get the chance. Fun fact: Christian and Brandon actually fought each other a few years ago! Even though we didn’t get to work with them this time around, enjoy a little throwback of their fight. 5 Months With Blossom

Happy New Year all!

It’s been a while hasn’t it? Despite the craziness of the pandemic, we plow on! Let’s get this year going strong and not let the difficulties of last year weigh us down too much!

We had the opportunity of photographing our cousin Blossom, who had just turned 5 months. The beauty of a baby milestone session is that we can document these special growing moments that family will look back on for years to come. Have a look and enjoy a bit of Blossom's session with us!

We Got A Kepa!

Happy New Year Everyone!

So many events happened in latter half of last year, and we just lost track of time. We haven’t blogged in a while, so time to get back at it!

We had the pleasure of photographing some of our best friends’ engagement pictures. Our son was one of the ring bearers for the wedding, which was already an honor for us. We had a blast, being that we could just let them be themselves, and let their fun and ecstatic nature take over. Congrats to the newly Mr. & Mrs. Kepa! Happy New Year All!

It’s been a crazy year in 2018. In fact, it’s been so crazy that we weren’t able to post all the events we wanted :(

But the world deserves to see the awesome people we work with!

One such event was Sarah & Justin’s engagement. As you all may know, we did their epic save the date pictures, which was transformed (special thanks to Amanda Hipolito) into a crazy fight poster!
